New Starters at Prime

8 Nov 2019

Here at Prime we have expanded our team with the appointment of 11 new staff members and the launch of our probate services. We now employ more than 100 members of staff and have recently expanded at every level and across all three of our offices.

Our new staff increases the range of expert advice we are able to offer to our clients across services including tax planning, wealth management, audit and accounts, payroll, book-keeping, forensic accounting and the newly-opened probate offering.

New starters 2020

Director Kevin Johns said: “At Prime, we have adopted a two-pronged approach of investing both in the business and in talented new personnel to help us expand and excel in the service we offer to our clients.

“We are always looking to improve and evolve and those goals are perfectly illustrated by this addition of 11 new staff and the launch of our probate service.

“In terms of our probate offering, we always aim to provide clients with a complete solution, satisfying all their accounting and wealth planning requirements.

“For many clients, we have been their advisers for a number of years and will have discussed their plans for a legacy. Being authorised to deliver probate now means we can use this knowledge to implement their wishes.”

Heading the list of new recruits is the vastly-experienced Claire Lea, who has joined as an associate tax director. She has 15 years’ specialist tax experience and will head up Prime’s Tax Advisory offering.

Her arrival further enhances the tax offering Prime is able to provide, particularly in working to structure clients’ affairs to meet their business objectives and personal goals.

The tax team has been boosted further by the arrival of chartered tax adviser Indu Melvin as a tax manager at the Birmingham office, specialising in Private Client Tax.

Jayne Ison arrives with more than 16 years’ financial experience, having previously worked for HSBC and Zurich Financial, while Adam Williams has joined the payroll department.

Prime also welcome graduates Lemar Chandegra (Accountancy and Finance) and Haroon Gulfraz (Business and Finance) with Joseph Young returning from travelling in Asia to study to become a Financial Adviser.

The other new faces are Ellie Herdman, Sonia Fard, Sarah Dexter and Sarah Branagh, who have joined the team in its VAO, admin and Prime Wealth departments.
