Prime Accountants Group expands with the acquisition of Rochesters Chartered Accountants

1 Nov 2018

We are delighted to announce that Prime have acquired Birmingham based firm Rochesters Chartered Accountants. We already act for many clients in Birmingham and this gives the expanded Prime Group an office in the city. Rochesters Chartered Accountants will be rebranding as Prime Rochesters and will be retaining the St Paul’s Square office location.

Rochesters Chartered Accountants have a similar culture and approach to client service as Prime, ensuring a seamless transition for clients.

The expansion increases our ability to provide clients with a range of solutions ‘under one roof’ which is far greater than that provided by a traditional accountancy practice, whilst retaining our personal approach to client service.

Both firms have a similar client base and we are confident that clients will continue to receive the excellent level of service they would expect from the Prime Group.

Stephen Rochester comments “We are all looking forward to joining the Prime team and being able to draw upon the additional resource that Prime is able to offer. Our clients will of course continue to experience the same service level and contact with us as they have become accustomed to, but now also be able to benefit from an additional range of services which previously we weren’t able to provide.”

Kevin Johns, Prime’s Managing Director “We are delighted to join forces with Rochesters and this milestone is significant in achieving our strategic plans. We look forward to meeting the clients of Rochesters and building on these already strong relationships.”

The acquisition will see Prime expand to a work force of over 100 members of staff with 12 directors and 2 consultants, spread across the three offices in Birmingham, Coventry and Solihull. This expansion further positions Prime as one of the largest independent accountancy firms in the region.
