Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme Claims

Last week the online portal for the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme launched, allowing businesses to claim back the wages paid to furloughed workers. 

As a registered agent, we are able to complete this process on behalf of our payroll clients that have been affected, and we have been very busy doing so.

Since the portal launched on 20th April, Prime have completed claims for 140 clients, totalling over £1.55 million, and saving over 1000 jobs. As the payments take 6 days to reach the business, some of our clients have now already received payment, whilst the remainder can expect payment in the following days. 

We are pleased that as a firm, we have been able to respond to this quickly, in order to provide the best support possible for our clients in these challenging times.
