Prime become patron of Made in the Midlands

27 Jan 2021

We are delighted to announce that we have recently become a patron for Made in the Midlands, a membership group designed to promote, inspire and share best practice within the manufacturing sector.

Made in the Midlands is based on a pledge signed by manufacturers to open a channel of communication with regional businesses, take on apprentices and export to new markets, in a bid to support and further boost the critical industry.

As part of our role with the group, we will be offering support, advice and financial services to those firms which are part of Made in the Midlands, providing a crucial boost at a time when business across the region is being affected by both Brexit and the national Covid-19 lockdown.

Morgan Davies, director here at Prime, said that as an independent business with our roots firmly in the region, the team at Prime are proud to become a patron for Made in the Midlands.

He said: “As a firm that began here in the Midlands, we are always keen to support the work of the thriving industries on the doorstep of our offices across the region.

“As a large proportion of our client base is made up of manufacturers in the surrounding area, we have vast experience in dealing with their needs and requirements and have used our expertise to support them year after year.

“In turn, this has helped them to develop their businesses and contribute even more to this dynamic and fast-paced industry.

“We’re proud to be joining Made in the Midlands as one of its patrons and are excited to meet more of its members that make up this incredible industry and offer any financial assistance they may need to make improvements within their organisations.

“By working together, what is already a large and successful part of our region could become an even stronger force which will bring more opportunities and success here to the Midlands.”

Charles Addison, deputy CEO at Made in the Midlands, said: “We are really proud to be working with Prime Accountants as our accountancy patron for Made in the Midlands.

“Our members need quality, reliable and local advice and it shows how far our group and brand has come to have the choice of a number of potential partners including global brands.

“However, we feel the Prime team, along with their offering, is the best fit for our group and our members and look forward to seeing what we can achieve together.

“The nation and business sector in particular needs positive actions shown from its leaders, so we feel the investment Prime Accountants has made at a time when the sector is crying out for strength and strong leadership, makes this a world-class partnership.”
