Leading local accountant continues to develop in-house talent with two promotions

Prime Accountants, a leading accounting firm in the West Midlands, continues to demonstrate a commitment to developing and rewarding the talent of its expert team.

Two members of the team have been promoted to key positions where their abilities will continue to benefit their colleagues and the clients they work with.

Amy Garratt has been promoted to Senior Tax Administrator and Stacie Youell has been promoted to Senior Audit & Accounts Administrator.

As job-hopping becomes more common, Prime continues to defy the trends by investing in a work environment that inspires people to stay with the firm.

The latest promotions occur alongside a number of notable work anniversaries, demonstrating that the firm rewards those at every stage of their career.

Paislei Godley, one of Prime’s Directors who recently celebrated 25 years with the firm, has worked closely with Amy.

She said: “Being part of Amy’s journey has been incredible and it is excellent to see the supportive environment of Prime continue to develop the next generation of talent.

“Prime has always been focused on rewarding those who put in the effort and show initiative – Amy’s promotion is a testament to her dedication and this ethos.”

Reflecting on her own success, Amy said: “I’m very proud to have been promoted!

“I’m grateful for the ongoing support and opportunity to be able to progress and further expand my knowledge and skills.”

Known for her ability to put clients at ease even with complex matters, Stacie was similarly enthusiastic about her promotion.

“I’m delighted with this promotion,” she said. “I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to take the next step in my career and for the support, encouragement and trust I’ve received along the way.

“This promotion feels like a real reflection of how much I’ve grown, both professionally and personally and I’m excited to continue developing my skills, taking on new responsibilities and contributing even more to the team.”

The sentiment was echoed by Paul Guise, another director at Prime, as he reflected on Stacie’s progress within the firm.

“Stacie is a real asset to the team,” he said. “This role is a natural fit for her and we hope to be able to give her the opportunity to fully put into practice the skills that she has.

“While a lot of people do feel that moving from one job to another is the only way to advance, our approach will always be to respect the time and effort our team put into their work and reward them accordingly.”

An independent firm, Prime continues to demonstrate its potential as one of the region’s largest independent firms.
