West Midlands-based accountancy firm, Prime, has announced its sponsorship of the Breakthrough Business Award at the Solihull Awards ceremony 2026.
The Solihull Breakthrough Business Award is a featured category of the Solihull Chamber of Commerce Awards, which celebrates outstanding local SMEs and startups.
At a time when it is becoming increasingly challenging for small businesses, Prime Accountants are celebrating the importance and impact of Solihull's local businesses.
Across the UK, SMEs account for around half of the nation's private sector GDP and employ around 16.9 million people.
Luke Edwards, a Director at Prime, said: "We are delighted to be sponsoring the Solihull Breakthrough Business Award this year.
"At Prime, we work with businesses at every stage of their journey, and there is something particularly exciting about supporting organisations that are achieving significant growth and making a real impact in their market.
"The Breakthrough Business category celebrates ambition, resilience and innovation. These are qualities we see and support every day in the businesses we are proud to work with."
Hosted on 11 September 2026 at the National Conference Centre, the awards will highlight small businesses from jewellery makers to estate agents, showing the best of what Solihull has to offer.
The shortlisted businesses include Arden Ultraviolet Limed, Caroline Creba Fine Jewellery Ltd, Love Property Co, Slow Century Records Ltd, The Purple House Clinic and UB Healthcare.
Luke continued: "We know that behind every successful business is a dedicated team with a vision and the determination to make it happen.
"We look forward to recognising and celebrating the outstanding businesses that are driving growth and contributing to the success of the Solihull business community."
