Solihull Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber's ProSolihull Forum have joined forces with BPS Birmingham to launch professional services week in Solihull.
Professional Services Week was created by BPS Birmingham, which represents the professional and financial services sector, as a direct response to the growing need to nurture, encourage and inform young people to consider employment opportunities, which require varying skills.
The campaign is being endorsed by both the Mayor of the West Midlands, Andy Street, and the Greater Birmingham & Solihull Local Enterprise Partnership.
Professional Services Week will enable students in Solihull to partake in a range of visits and workshops, which highlight the benefits and opportunities provided by the professional and financial services sector throughout the West Midlands and will take place on 25th June.
At Prime we believe it is important to take part and inform the younger generation about the possibilities that are available to them and what we do as a firm, as it may have the potential to encourage some individuals to pursue a career within professional services.
We will be hosting a session for the students as part of Professional Services Week to teach them about Prime and the departments we have, as well as different ways of getting a job within the firm.
To launch the campaign Solihull Chamber of Commerce is hosting an event at the Crown Plaza, in partnership with ProSolihull on 2nd May. BPS Birmingham will be there to share more about Professional Services Week and how you could get involved.
