Viv Shadbolt

Viv joined Prime in September 2024 as an Audit and Accounts Director and has over 30 years’ practice experience as a Chartered Accountant.

Viv qualified at an independent Birmingham firm and worked his way up to partner level in 2000. The firm merged a number of times and became part of a top 10 national firm in 2013. After 11 years Viv has returned to his independent roots and the Director led personal service he likes to deliver. Viv has considerable experience in audit and accounts and acts for small, medium and large companies and groups, pension schemes, charities and owner managed businesses. Viv is a Registered Statutory Auditor.

Viv is married with 4 grown up children, 1 of whom still lives at home. Contrary to appearances, Viv is a keen runner and has completed the London Marathon twice (once virtually during the Covid pandemic) and “enjoys” a parkrun on a Saturday morning with over 150 to his name. A bit of a petrol head, Viv owns an American car and enjoys riding his motorbike, regularly touring Europe with his wife as pillion passenger. Live music and theatre are another of Viv’s passions, and, when time allows, he can often be found by the seaside in Margate, where his father lives.
