Prime supports local community with sustainability efforts

Prime’s latest sustainability initiative has given local organisations a boost thanks to our recycling efforts.
Following a full refurbishment of our Coventry office, we have donated all our unwanted furniture to local schools, charities and businesses.
Reduce, reuse, recycle
Heart of England School in Balsall Common has successfully furnished its staff room and sixth form common room using seating and tables that were previously used in our breakout area.
More items were donated to a village school, Wolston St Margaret’s, to be utilised in its reception and head teacher’s office, which looks fantastic for an update and has created a great working area for staff.
All Equipment Finance Ltd is a new local business that was setting up an office in Hunningham. We’re pleased to have been able to support its founder Adrian Lamb with furnishing his new office using recycled goods from our office.
Additional donations have been made to Kenilworth Scouts, sharing our old cupboards to help secure and tidy their Scout hut, Binley Woods School, to help update the furniture in its staff room, and Heart of Worship Christian Centre Charity, which has become the new home of our former boardroom tables and chairs.
Supporting schools
Samantha Burbury, School Business Manager said: “Wolston St Margaret’s Primary School are extremely grateful for the thoughtful, environmentally conscientious and generous approach Prime Accountants has taken to its office refurb and the decision to donate its old office furniture for free.
“This has allowed us to give our front office at the school a revamp and actually provide adequate desk and storage space to all the users of this office, both of which were distinctly lacking, as well as providing an opportunity for us to create a secondary office space in time.
“These are goals that the school has had for a while, but with no budget to achieve them, and there always being a more pertinent way to spend the school’s limited funds on the children’s education, they were feeling less and less achievable.
“However, thanks to Prime Accountants Group’s thoughtful and generous approach to disposal, we now have a front office that gets complemented by all who see it and is a delight to work in, with room for everyone.”
Supporting the community
We are proud to be able to support local education organisations, charities and start-ups with these donations, which are providing essential resources, fostering educational development and supporting entrepreneurial growth, while also helping Prime with its sustainability journey and net-zero target.
Employee Benefits
Prime’s participation in community service activities has increased employee morale and fostered a sense of purpose, strengthening team cohesion and job satisfaction.
Engaging in diverse initiatives as part of our sustainability strategy and journey to net-zero has provided employees with opportunities to develop new skills and experiences outside of their usual roles.

Business Successes
Active participation in these local initiatives has enhanced Prime’s reputation as a socially responsible business, building trust and goodwill within the community, while helping it to flourish.
A strong emphasis on community involvement and employee well-being has made us an attractive employer, aiding in the retention and recruitment of top talent to our business.
These community and employee-focused efforts align with Prime’s broader sustainability and corporate responsibility objectives, and are contributing to our long-term success.
